This studio is a true gem! As a newcomer to yoga, I didn't know what to expect. What I discovered was a peaceful and tranquil studio with friendly and supportive instructors who guided me through each session with patience and encouragement. For anyone who has been considering yoga, this is a great place to start or continue your practice. Yoga helps to relax the mind, body and soul and is a great way to deal with life's daily stressors. I highly recommend Pose Story Yoga. 🧘♀️🌟🍃
I am happy I have found Pose Story Yoga. Not only is the Team friendly and approachable, they are very knowledgeable and cater to a wide variety of classes, styles, body types, and levels. Offering tips to maximize a pose based on an individual's flexibility, and providing alternatives for those who aren't as seasoned makes this studio a plus! Ready to jump in after I discovered them, my first class was trapeze and I was a bit intimidated as I am 49 female, with some flexibility but also some aches, and an average body type that has a little extra cushion. The class was amazing and Stephanie was attentive on my level of comfortability. Kristi's Hatha and Yin was also amazing! Restorative was in tempo for my experience thus far and was exactly what I needed as well. I'm excited to work with Monika at Vinyasa tonight. The aesthetics and relaxing of the vibe of the studio and friendliness of the other members will keep me coming back. ✨️ ☯️ ✨️
I have never enjoyed yoga until I took trapeze yoga at Pose Story. It’s fun and challenging - but only as challenging as you want to make it.
I love Pose Story Yoga! Everyone, regardless of ability or experience level, can enjoy a yoga class. The instructors are so kind and patient. The prices are reasonable, and there's classes offered at many different times. I am so glad we have Pose Story Yoga in Wilmore!
Ok, if you are ready to change how you feel for the better though yoga, you have found the right one. The atmosphere is pure, the moves are solid, and the results are real. Stephanie is the best teacher I’ve ever come across. I’ve been attending for about a year and a half, at least once (usually twice) a week. There are multiple ones to choose from. I love the restorative when my muscles are sore and tight. Everything from the music and lights to the way I feel my muscles loosen during the course of the class is what brings me to my happy place. Trapeze is so much fun!! I didn’t know if I could do it b/c I’m what you’d consider plus size but it’s so much fun and definitely gets a hard workout in. The traction of going upside down is amazing for your back! And for the price?? $12/class vs $25-30ish? That’s a no brainer when the quality is better than I’ve had in any other yoga class. Go sign up. Like now.
A friend recommended Pose Story Yoga when I was having back issues for the first time. I was eager to recover and decided to try. At first, I laughingly said the best part of the class was when it was over, and I had survived. However, after several sessions, I look forward to the classes and think they have been a great help. One doesn't have to have a physical challenge to benefit from the class. Focusing on proper stretching, breathing, and posture can be a benefit to anyone.
I love this studio! Friendly to beginners and experienced alike. The classes have great flow with just enough challenge to keep me growing, and the lavender towels at the end of class are heavenly! Stephanie is an excellent yoga teacher, one of my favorite instructors in 11+ years of doing yoga, so I was thrilled when she opened a studio. She truly cares about each person's wellbeing and experience, so don't be afraid to ask questions. She is respectful and professional (evidenced by her research, preparation, and practice) and emanates positivity and kindness.
I attend the trapeze yoga class. I was nervous my first time, but Stephanie, the instructor, is very good at encouraging each of us to listen to our bodies. She helps with doing some of the harder moves and never judges or makes you feel bad if you are not to her level. She recognizes that takes time... I’ve only been to 3-4 classes and I already notice a difference in how I feel. The class can seem hard, but definitely worth it, and so relaxing at the end. The nights after class are the nights I sleep the best.
